So I bought Paul Volks old compound turbo oil pan off him a while ago, (it has 2 10AN returns welded into the pan)
my thought originally was to block one with a special AN cap and use 1 HOWEVER!!!!! recently I saw a thread stated that the 10AN is actually smaller then the stock t25 or 2g drain http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/garrett-holset-turbo-users-your-oil-drain-may-be-too-small.331710/ ! so it got me thinking a bit and thought my idea might be ok but now im worried it might drain too fast! if there is such a thing!
the IDEA I had was to have 1 from the 16g and then use a Y split to then go to the 2 fittings welded to the oil pan! is this a good idea or will it drain the oil too fast from the turbo? I dont know if there is a certain rate it needs to flow from but i know there is a pressure limit going in so........ I am not sure on what is the best way to go.
any insight would be great especially from turbo gurus who do or works with this daily
