I just blew my t25 with only 60000 miles? yeah..got the evoIII big 16g and install kit from sbr. everything is in the car and it runs good. I do have 2 problems, though and i have looked everywhere in the forums, but i am really new and bad at the computer thing.
problem 1: biggest problem
i am not sure if i have the vacuum lines from the cylanoid to the waste gate hooked up right. there is a nipple on the j-pipe that i plugged. am i missing something? it is crazy-boosting like to 30 psi!!! what is causing this? do i have the vac lines hooked up right to open the waste gate?
problem 2: not so big
i am SOMETIMES idling too high rpm.

like i said i know this is a common question but i am an idiot and need much help!! PLEASE HELP!! :dsm:

Usually that nipple you capped comes out to a hose, which Ts off between the wastegate actuator and the BCS. It CAN be safely capped... but only if you tap into another boost-pressure source. Your WG is essentially never opening, as it has no pressure going through that line.

Here's to hoping that you didn't blow anything out.

that is what i thougt...my friend who is in FL and i am in OH said to just cap that nipple off. it is still running ok...so hopefully everything is still in tact. that just t's to the line from the j pipe to the cylanoid/waste gate line? the t25 t'd at the turbo. thx :dsm:

cap it off. Then t in to the bov vac line and run that to the wastegate actuator before you "fry some piston rings" or blow the welds off your intake manifold.

You could take the BCS out of the picture entirely just get rid of the lines going to the selinoid and just make a line from the wastegate to the nipple on the turbo and it will just let go at whatever the wastegate is rated at. Your best bet is to buy a boost controller since you upgraded your turbo.

got it all figured out. went this mornin to the local rip-off store and got a new vacuum line and just connected it straight to the old T for a pressure source. i also bought a Forge boost controller. thanks for all your help guys! :dsm:
