I have a 16G ebay turbo that i wanted to use the 7CM hot side and slap it on my 14B.. I took off the hot side and tried to put my 14B on it but it won't fit. I noticed the piece on the hot side that lines up the cold side and hot side together is a little bit bigger and won't slide in so its flush together so i can clamp it together.. Are eBay 16G hot sides different?? Any help is appreciated.. thanks

The ebay 7cm housing is almost the exact same as oem.The ebay housing might not have the indent for the little nub off the center of the 14b.

I have done this exact thing before..Works perfect.

Simple fix is get rid of nub, clock it.Put it on,your golden

No. That post you referenced is on the cold side. The only hot part I see is the black housing. What are you trying to do as you're not referencing the correct parts here. In that pic, black housing is the hot side (turbine housing) the part with the oil drain is the center cartridge or CHRA and the silver part is the compressor housing.

In the post before the one your reffering too.

There is the at hand nipple..

My picture shows a 14b, on the ebay 7cm turbine housing..Under the clamp there is the affected area we are referring too.;)

So i unhooked the waste gate and it seemed to be rusted shut from sitting for so long.. So I lubed it up with wd-40 and moved it back and fourth. Is this fixable or is the hot side screwed??? It's nothing like my other 14B hot side i have, the waste gate flapper moves freely with no stress.. This barely even moves at all.. >.>
