went to the dyno on wed. made 299.1 at the wheels@ 20 lbs. going back on tues, to up the boost and see if i can get 340...im looking to see what some people are at with a 16g @20lbs? (and some dyno sheets if possible) to see if im on the right track. also, this was on pump 93. and about 80* outside.

im sure if you up the boost to 24-25 you may get close to 340. looking at your profile im guessing you have ARP headstuds? just want to be careful you dont break anything pushing that amount of boost!

These will work for pretty good reference for you. The main difference is that I'm on 91 octane instead of 93.

Here is a print out form the dyno of my boost during the run.

And here is the ambient temperature during the run.

You should be getting ready to replace that stock clutch. At the power you are making it just won't last long if you drive it hard. This is what happened to my centerforce on the dyno when we made 316 lb-ft of torque.

It doesn't really look that bad but it just slipped really bad and then stopped holding.

Looks like a nice dyno. How much timing are you seeing at redline? I would pull timing back and add some boost.
well im shifting at about 6.5k(power will just drop out at the last .5) and at that level im seeing about 17* of timing advance. since then iv'e been able to drop intake temps(airbox) and am now at 19.3* by 6.7k.

My car seems to like to run around 11.2:1. And a touch over 17* of timing by 6000 RPM, I'm running right around 20psi but it fluctuates a little because it is a MBC.
I don't have th actual log files from my dyno pull because it was done with Scot Gray's computer hooked up and not mine. Here is the log from my 13.030 pass last weekend. I haven't changed the settings since Scot tuned it so this accurately represents how it han on the dyno except it was a lot hotter out at the track.

Edit: I just noticed that our log files have the same file name weird..... Saturday was a good day for playing with cars on both coasts I guess.

I have a completely stock 7-bolt. Stock block, head, and cams.

In case you were wondering the reason my log shows no knock at all is that I turn of the knock sensor at the drag strip because the no lift to shift feature causes it to go crazy in my car.

Pshhh, crankwalk IS overrated. :rocks:

For sure, when I bought my car two years ago I had the crank play measured and it was out of spec then and I was told that the engine was going to crankwalk soon.

I've spent the last two years adding every bolt on I can and I'm building a 6-bolt to swap in when it dies but so far it is just taking all the abuse I throw at it.

I don't know all the specifics but one of my buddies dyno'd his evoIII16g gst last summer & was right around the 20psi mark as well. Best pull was 304 hp, this was on pump (94), but not sure what kind of timing he was seeing.

340 HP / 380 Torque @ 26 falling to 24psi
325 HP / 350 Torque @ 21psi

This was on a Dyno Dynamics, which are said to read low..

The higher boost number is a few hp low because my tires spun on the upper revs (I was just running fwd).

E3-16G, E85, my own tuning with tunerpro, 8:1 compression, Nissan SMIC, 3" exhaust but the front of the downpipe has the stock flange and pipe (1 3/4 inch or so opening).
