Would I run into problems if I upgraded the turbo on a stock car? I will be using a boost controller as well.

As long as you keep the boost reasonable, ~16lbs or so, you should run into no problems. Of course its best to be able to monitor how well the fuel system is keeping up, but unless something is faulty, you'll be great.

expect to hit fuel cut. you will need to upgrade some fuel components. also ive heard the stock exhaust has a very hard time handling a16g and bogs down alot.

Fuel cut has nothing to do with the fuel system, though some might be concerned about running lean on occasion. You shouldn't hit fuel cut at 16lbs boost, I'm not. And it doesn't appear to be running lean, though you should do a fuel pump rewire for a little extra assurance. If you're going to turn up the boost past 16 psi, get a walbro 190. The stock injectors, should be good to around 19 psi with a 16g.

I had a small 16g and a mbc set at 15psi on my bone stock 91 GSX, it ran fine. I ran a couple 13.7's@102 with it, I even datalogged it and everything looked perfect. You'll be fine.

Go for it if you wish..Just make sure you next buy a turbo-back, fuel pump & a datalogger...Later some new I/C pipes and then finish up the fuel setup with a tuning device and some injectors...With a strong clutch and good driving/tuning that could be some low 13's/high 12's right there

i have a b16g on my 95..basically no exhaust mod's and when i drove it last it had no fuel mod's in it. i had stock 450's. on my 2g 15 psi is the max that was running well according to my logger. it bogged through the mid rpm for some reason, timing/o2's/trims were good. someone mentioned exhaust being a big factor. well now i have 3" 550's and a 255 :). youll love the 16g

and what about some rods (engine mods)?

a 16G with stock engine parts how much hp will this take?

You don't need them. The stock bottom end is conservatively good for 400 hp. That'd be hard to get even with a big 16g. Even with your 7 bolt, you should be fine on the stock bottom end.

I have a 98 gsx and i have just add a greddy type-s bov and a turboxs boost controller, but when the boost is above stock it'll run fine for a short amount of time, then when im going full throtle it just cuts off even at only to extra pounds of boost. Can any one help me out and let me kno wat i need to do about that??? thanx
