16" offset question

okay so im ordering a 16"x7 enkei edr9s and i wanted to know if a +45 offset will make the rim stick out? i dont want it looking all lowrider ... and i plan on running 205/55/r16 tires

I believe the stock offset is 52mm, so that is a net 7mm farther out.

So what gives rims those deep lips? negative offsets?

Offsets closer to zero will give the deep dish look, thus 'low offset'. Negative offsets would go even farther, but I've only seen tha lowridas rockin those, homes.

Another way to get the deep dish look is to make the spoke area of the wheel convex rather than flat.

This is false. Stock offset on all T/E/L vehicles is +46mm.

I'm not even going to ask why you're buying new rims but only sticking with a 7" wide rim and 205 series tires.

Your wheels wont stick out with a 45mm offset. I have +45mm offset and they are pretty much flush with the fenders. Looks good!
