this is my budget. ive read the upgrade paths but want more imput just let me know and im looking for 300-350hp.my motors a 99 7 bolt with 20k original miles and tranny to go with it so its healthy .so just hit me up asap thanks guys...

You can do it on a 16G. I have DD'd all manner of modded cars. Just build them properly the first time.

You have a lot of research ahead. Also, I hope you have done all maintainence items first.

So research those as well. It doesn't help you if everything is predigested for you. Go read and search till your brain hurts. Then do it some more.

That will determine whether or not this will be a good experience or a complete nightmare, in spite of how comparably easy attaining only 300-350whp can be with this platform.

Honestly install is pretty easy it just takes time patience especially if your doing it your first time.Personaly I hate electrical so I get all my gauges installed by my local tuner shop even tho it is easy to do I prefere to go there.If you wanna do it yourself there are alot of articles on how to install vrsf fmic how to install widebands how to install boost gauge how to do 16g turbo swap oh yea don't forget you will need a J pipe for the 16g turbo just get the vrsf one.But yea just do some studying if you ganna do it all yourself I can garentee all the info is right here on this forums.

i have the j pipe ive swapped the turbo before wasent hard its just my first turbo car and much bumpier than my previous car an audi but much more fun pulling boost..........dsm ftw!!!!!
