Just a quick question is it safe to be running 15lbs of boost everyday on my daily driver with stock internals? Will this cause the engine to have a shorter life span? I was told by my mchanic doing my headgasket replacment that i now need a rebuild because after they did the replacement and put it back together a bunch of other problems starting coming up and they said it was all due to runing that much boost and the engines are not able to handle this much power. Any responses would help out thanks.
and you will be fine! I was running 21 lbs on my daily BEATEN GSX with 135,000 miles and haven't had a problem yet! knock on wood!
You have GOT to be having fuel cut. If you want to go that route, i'd run the stock wastegate spring JUST to be on the safe side.
I've found that unless somebody owns and works on a DSM that they typically dont know much about them. Some guy said my car wasnt running right because of my HKS cam-idle being choppy/lopey on a 4 cyl.
