14b w/ 16g wheel

will a small 16g wheel fit in a 14b compressor housing? And will a 16g turbine fit in a 14b exhaust housing? would their be any benifits if they fit?

No, you'll need a new center plate. 16G is tapered... here.

Click on Turbo at the top, then go to Turbo Rebuild. Scroll all the way down till you see the Compressor wheels. The plate will be in that area.

Yup....as long as it is a regular old 16G.

Just my .02.. if you're planning to build a 16G from a 14B and new parts.. would likely be cheeper to just buy a used 16G as the low cost of new and the sheer# of used ones around has depressed the market value of used turbos.

When rebuilding it's a good idea to get the assembly balanced to ensure logevity
