I've just installed a 14b on my 95 Gs-T but the turbocharger make a strange sound when boost(i' don't know at how much psi, but I think over 9-10 psi or something closer to this range), the sound, sounds like, I don't know.......something like when you switch on the A/C WTF WTF or something similar WTF but we go out for a run and the car go really good..........

Oh I forgot to mention that the lower ic pipe is hand made, and we got some trouble to make it fit right..........could be this the problem???? (if it is a problem)

A boost leak test is a MUST after any work done on the intake tract.

If you are using any hard intake piping you will hear noises like that, it's the air moving through the pipes. I noticed a definate increase in noise when I switched from the stock platsic pos uicp to a dejon tool one. Can hear the air moving.

But yes, do a boost leak test to be safe.

I've also completed a 14b swap about a week in a half ago. Got the kit off of SBR with complete hard piping from the compressor to the intercooler. I expected the turbo spool up to be louder, but it's actually quieter and it sounds a bit different. Boosts fine, all the way to redline. One thing though, I removed the lower ic piping one day and there was already some dry oil already inside them?

I'm still going to do a boost leak test though, just need to find that damn valve stem somewhere.

Look for tire valve stems in any auto parts store, or you can stop by any tire shop.

You DO have a boost gauge don't you?

I agree with the boost leak test approach. Everytime you do a turbo swap, you must check for leaks specially if you moved pipes around. 14b has a different intercooler setup track. If your car pulls good, than I think its not problem. If its making a loud grinding with a shhh sound, your turbo has a lot of play. Check for compressor play as well.
