14b=good???

what makes a 14b turbo a good turbo. i hear people saying that it is a great turbo to mod with and not to upgrade it until u want to make massive amounts of power.

Today at the track a guy said he was getting 20psi on his 14b, I think he is speaking poopey. Anyways the 14B will kindly do 14-15psi, spool quickly. With that boost, and stage I in the tech guide, your dsm will be pretty kick ass Thats' my 2 cents.

This is a goofy question. A 14b is considered a good upgrade because it flows substantially more than the T25 (30lbs over 24lbs) and can be had for $100 or so. What do you consider a good turbo? Most people only care about flow and price, but for the record, MHI turbos are pretty durable.

IMO get a logger and don't be a vag. 14b will hold 25psi to redline.

yes the 14b is a great turbo...its a definate upgrade over the t-25....one of the members here artic tsi i think was running 12.1 at 111.94

Its been proven over and over that a 14b its a great "stock turbo" now of course if you compare it to any bigger turbo well thats a different story, but if you want to get decent power from your stock powered car a 14b is very strong.
