Ok, I found a 16 g turbo on Craigslist. The guy selling it to me tells me its a small upgrade from my 14 b, which is fine with me. My question is, will it be ok to bolt that bad boy right up or do I need to upgrade anything else on my motor, injectors, cam, etc.? I'd like to keep the car as stock as possible. I don't want to be pushing crazy amounts of boost. Please if anyone can answer this for me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Search Craigslist or any of the local DSM or AWD forums. Post an ad in the Southwest section. Any of those options but posting here will work.

Any time you upgrade something you need to retune for it. Even if it is with just a SAFC. The extra airflow from the 16g will cause all sorts of issues.

Not trying to contradict any wiseman on here or anything but i've pesonally known some people running a ported/clipped 16g as a straight replacement from a worn out 14b. No any sort of piggyback/interceptor/eprom, just a hollow cat for mods. However, it would be a good idea to check plugs while doing a pull just incase. Just because it worked for one car, don't mean it would work for all of them.
