First off I have spent the morning searching and I was not able to find any info on someone installing a 13G on a 420A. I have an extra 13G laying around off of a 1G auto and was thinking about putting it on my 96. I know everyone is gonna tell me not to waste my time and get at least a 14b but I already have the 13G and its free! So my question in being is: would it be reasonable to run 10psi on a stock motor (with 115,000 miles on it, good compression, and a recent headgasket change)without any problems? (also assuming I get at least an FMU if not an SFMU)

I wouldnt run 10psi. Run up to 8psi and you will be fine. I would use the 13g since you already have it. You can always swap it out for a 14b or 16g if you ever want to upgrade. Go ahead and get the SFMU. The FMU are crap and dont work well at all. I was able to get a pretty good tune with the SFMU and some 310cc injectors.

Sell the 13G on eBay and find a good used T25.

The turbine housing will flow much more because it's 6cm2 versus the off-centered 5cm2 of the 13G (better for the 9.6:1 compression on the 420A), and the T25's compressor housing can be clocked 360* if you redrill the holes for the wastegate actuator. The T25 also doesn't require a j-pipe on the compressor outlet, and a piece of 1/4" metal brake / fuel line can be used for your oil supply line (no banjo fittings).

I've been kicking around the idea of boosting my GS using a T25....if not, I'm going to look for a clean 2G GST this summer for a daily driver; although I enjoy the cheap insurance of the GS!

The t25 sucks. Why the hell would he do that. I think the 13g is better than that. And if not it would be easier upgraded to a 14b or 16g. Much easier than upgrading from the t25

true ...T25 is not the best turbo by a long shot for DSMs...

but flows so littile, it perfect for the 420a....

but since you have a 13G stick with that...

you can find install kits 14B online easily...
