1 industrial sized capacitor set to charge from the alternator while driving. (the idea here is to use it as a quick discharge device not to even out the power flow). Connect wire 1 to the frame. Isolate door handle with non conductive material. Connect second wire to door handle. Instant Stun Gun (lethal if done in a certain way). Wait for first idiot to grab your door handle. (note that placing interupts (switches) on one or both wires is a very good idea).

I would prefer "The Transporter" style security, where you have an actual keypad on the center console and you must type an ignition code to start the car. It could be hidden in the ashtray! Too bad i don't have my car anymore

does anybody have any ideas on a theft proof cd player? like if someone did get in your car (ie. getting drunk and passing out and someone taking yoru keys...) so that they couldnt pull the cd player out?

I always thought that having some kind of industrial sized electromagnet setup right at the edges of the doors , like underneath the door handle. When you flipped a switch, it would turn on the electromagnet and basically litterally "lock" the door to the frame, so someone physically could not open up the door without disabling it.

Do this for both doors, hatch and hood (don't know what to do if you have a CF hood, maybe attach a large metal plate to it somehow??) and they'd have to smash the windows and crawl in through them to get in. It would make it unbelievably cumbersome for someone to try to steal a car if they can't open any of the doors.

Only hard part would be finding a way to power the magnets without draining your battery with the quickness.

You could have a wired setup one in the roof and one in each seat. You set the alarm Charges the system. A would be theif happens to get into you car, it warns them, "get the fuc(k out or your gonna get it" Then when the thief ignores the warning a 50,000 volt shock from head to ass. You get a nasty burn smell and mabey some fecal matter, but the guy learns his leason.

hahahaha, like in the movie airplane, the blow up autopilot.....ignited makes a batt kill switch that is removable so you can put it on your keychain....thats pretty cool...or kill switches, kill switches, kill switches. run them so you have to do it in a specific order too

What about those S2000 push button starters? Put that under your dash, above your pedals. Also, those battery kill switches attached to your keychain. What about having your alarm hooked up through a secondary battery. My moms Camry got broken into because the theif supossedly used a large magnet to suck the juice out of the battery, once the alarm light stopped blinking, he busted the window and took her purse. Then again, my mom shouldnt have left her purse in the car. Thats another good reason to have your windows tinted.

My dad shuns me for having my windows damn near pitch black, he says "somebody is gonna bust your windows out to see if you have a stereo, just to find out you still got that stock one"

Also, depending on where you live...dont get A-pillar gauges. Ive seen so many threads with peoples windows busted out and their A-pillar gauges taken. Thats why I am going to most likely get bezel gauges, until I am in a decent area. I hate it when people break into cars to steal change or something small like that, "if you wouldve asked, i wouldve just given it to ya, you didnt have to bust my window, a-hole." haha.

my friend once had the tazer club. that thing was great. you set it off and it was like a 180 decibel siren followed by the club blasting 50,000 volts on the contacts that ran the whole lenght of it. awesome.

since i have the VERT i installed a proximity sensor. it's so damn sensitive that if a duck or a squirrel go by my car it chirps. and my remote beeps and vibrates also i don't get much sleep at night but when i finally do i am not worried.

The only real way is to take your dash apart and mount that CD player like you never want it out. Run a metal bar down the back and attach it using the screw in the back of the CD player, or fab up a cage. If you don't do that, all you have to do is keep pulling, the dash will eventually break. The interior peizo siren's is the easiest way, no one wants to sit in a car when 150 db is blasting them in the head.

Or do what I do, if I'm getting drunk, I leave the car at home.
