1.8 to 2.0?

Whats up, i currently have a 1990 eclipse 1.8 n/t, a friend is giving me his 1990 lazer 2.0 turbo FWD. Now, the chasis is bent/cracked on the lazer, but everything mechanical is mint. Will everything from the lazer be able to transplant to my eclipse?, i checked the mounts they look the same.

Hey man, i once posted a thread askin about swaping a 2.0 into a 1.8 chassis. Its possible but its about as hard as putting a 1G engine into the 2G's. You have to switch the ECU and the turbo tranny along with the engine.....as for the mounts, ur right, they are pretty similar. If u have the money and the time i say go for it. I personally am just gunna try to turbo my 1.8. Good luck.
