Been working on the adapter plate. This thing fits like a glove. Bolted it up to the engine and put it in the car. The motor fits like it was made for this car. Now that I have the engine connected to the transmission i am making engine mounts.

Finished the motor mounts today. The engine is officially in the car. The hood shuts with 1.5” clearance to the hood. Time to start on the rear sump. Bought melling oil pickup #68-3s. I read that it was the same size pipe as the 4g. Well it’s a little smaller but it is close enough. There is enough pipe on this one oil pickup to make my pickup tube.
