04/06/04 buying b16g, is this a good deal?

Hello everyone.

Tomarow (04/06/04) I am purchasing a Big 16g turbo for my 1991 tsi Awd. The turbo is basicall brand new, with less than 1200 niles on it. It has been ported, and Has no shaft play at all. I am paying $500.00 is this a good deal, or should I just wait until something better comes along? The guy I am buying from is a friend of mine, I don't wanna back out of the sale, Unles if it sounds liike an unfair price. PLease any suggestions or imput is much appreciated.

is it ported/clipped/flapper? if so then i'd say not bad, but not too much of a hookup if he's your friend.

if you do decide to get it, make sure he helps you install it for compensation :laugh:

i got mine for 375 with the install kit from a real friend of mine

but i guess its too late now.......im just rubbing it in
