Hey guys, I have a 99 420a n/t that is having major charging system problems. Alternator fried on me, so I replaced it. 5 seconds after startup the battery light kicked back on. I tested it, and it was putting out <11 volts. Then installed a 2nd one, it instantly fried. Along with the 3rd and 4th. I have not found any bad wires, can't find Any shorts, but I haven't finished all of those tests. The only option I can think of is the ECU may have died on me. This car has 280k miles on it and it just may be time the ECU dies.

Any thoughts or comments, ideas would be great.
