Ok I'm back with basicly the same question but with more detailed info.

I have a set up front TMP drilled and slotted rotors messureing 0.945" thick and 10 3/4" in diameter.

My question is are these to thick or to large to use with the 93-94 OEM duel piston calipers?

They will be ok. Pedal will just engage a little sooner so don't slam on brakes.

Defiant, of course, is correct. Any rotor that fits in the caliper (with pads) will be fine, as long as you don't have run-out (which should always be fixed regardless).

ps. if you drive a Honda, feel free to read that last word as "irregardless"

0.945" is actually slightly less than the stock thickness, 0.96." There is no danger when using a thicker rotor, although you might have do it with used pads. There is a danger when using a rotor that is thinner than the original spec. It is possible to overextend the pistons and lose the seals.

So are you just putting that info out there, or are you saying I should watch for that since it's all of 0.015" thiner?

I beleave the outer diameter is the same as the 93-94 rotors, but the thing is WAAY heavier than the stock 90-92 single piston rotors. So I figured it at least had a higher heat capasity than the stock OEM 93+ I am hopeing I dont regret getting the stolleted/drilled ones, but I was told by a guy at Slowboy, they had never heard of these cracking sooo... we will see.

They defently weren't some cheap set so im hopeing they work well. Hell about anything is better than the stock 90 brakes though LOL.

Now that I look at my notes, I see that the only front rotor thickness dimensions I have are for a 2g non-AWD. Regardless, the number that you will want to look for is the specified minimum thickness of worn rotors for your model. I believe these numbers are stamped into the OEM rotors and there may be a table in the repair manual. This minimum thickness not only relates to a minimum mass necessary for proper heat sink capacity but also the maximum extension of the caliper pistons. When using non-stock rotors that are thinner than what the caliper was designed for, spacers or shims are required behind the pads to prevent over-extension.

I'm just putting this out there. If your rotors are in fact 0.015" thinner than stock, that would not present a problem.

I know this thread is old as ####, but im going though my old posts and updating a few things.

Stock specs
--------------
Front rotor thickness (.882")
Rear rotor thickness (.331")
Disk runout (.0031")
Hub end play (.0003")
