    i was told the na block had a hole for the knock sensor.funny thing i si have a fwd na galant that i slapped a turbo on when i went to hook up the knock sensor i found out it was already there and this def was a na car.

    the weather has alot to do with itthe colder it is the denser ur air will be meaning more powerwhats teh weather like where ur at?check for boost leaks, check for timing retard and knock with a datalogger.

    i doubt the injectors are making the knock sound.its mostllily phantom knock and thats usually coming from the lifters. how are u detecting this knock?safc? if so the afc is very very unacurate reading knock.

    exactlyits called compressor surge.u can break and or bend the fins on the compressor like this.

    use grey silicone.(grey rtv)are u doing this with the motor out? because maybe when ur going to lay the gasket ur touchign the front cover somewhere and its smearing off the rtv.and i would wait a couple hours before starting the car. the loonger u give it to cure the better the seal...

    hmm i dont know if im missing something the guy just said he has a distributor so he cant have a cam angle sensor as well....check u biss screw and the isc if its bad.when u come to a stop the isc( idle step control) is supposed to catch the car from dying.
