2G V3 How to Bi-LED retrofit 2g headlights

I originally did one of the first retrofit how to’s 15 years ago. This is my v3 leveraging Morimoto MLED 2.0 Bi-LED 3” projectors. This is a bit more involved then the Morimoto mini h1’s but the light output and low amperage seems to be a winning combination for our car’s. I am super impressed with how they turned out! Give it a shot!

Nice! Did you post a link to the fitment jig in the youtube description?

Do you have any opinion on how well this would fit a 1G retrofit, or if not, more suitable retrofit components for that smaller housing?

Is there no worry that the reflector, being of pretty thin plastic, won't crack and break over time due to the weight of the projector unit and repeated jarring from driving on not-perfectly-smooth roads?

I don't have a 1g unfortunately but these are the only ones I'd imagine to possibly work and not be complete trash. They are OEM LED projectors from, I believe, the latest gen Tacoma. I have both the dedicated low beam and the BiLED versions, and they are both very small. I'd imagine the lens to be a 2.5" with tops cut or maybe slightly smaller.

These pictures were pulled from some guy on a FB group called headlight junkies. The high beams are nothing to brag about but the low beam is good for how small the package is.
