Those look the same as mine used to before the coating peeled up. Put a magnet up to them and see what happens.
These are the only two PNs that show for the 1g drip mouldings in ASA. I even checked NA 2.0L vs turbo 2.0L, MT vs AT, and Puerto Rico models too. There were also no differences between 1ga and 1gb.

Just put one up to it and it is very faint but has some effect. So now the question is this! If reproduced. how does one get it shiney black like OEM! generally that is part of a heat procress once pressed on that creates its finish. Mine would be like the 2G and almost satin with small amounts of shine to it

I actually had a neat thought for the guys running the Saturn alternator, could we get a clockwise rotating fan for the alternator? The Saturn is a counter clockwise rotating fan so you don't get all the cooling it could provide for the alternator if it were a clockwise. This would be a super easy part and pair nicely with your pulley.

so according to the designers of Alternators almost ALL alts spin clockwise. and they draw air from the back to the front where the blades are. They are not meant to scoop the air into but blow it away from the center suction. so GM alt are techanically doing the best are flow possible

Well thats interesting, well in that case id still be down for a dress up fan that looks better then that stamped steel one.

Recent idea occurred to me, what about replacement dash tweeter mounts/brackets? For those who want to replace the factory 3 inch tweeters with something else. If im not mistaken i think it just comes off with a screwdriver and some leverage, but i imagine it may be fragile or weak with repeated removal and installation, so a replacement one with a better material or revised installing method might be preferable, either for 1G (If it has a front dash tweeter) or 2G

Sometimes you can buy universal mounts for such things but something like that could be done and printed in plastic

OK THAT is new to me! I tool my Talon ones off, and those are all plastic! This is very odd and news to me LOL. what year is this? maybe they changed it as mines a 92.
Mines a 92 Bobby and they’re metal.

Looks to me like very thin formed metal covered with some type of plastic coating? And a strip of foam on inside.

Wow thats great! Thank you. I might take mine off to check whats going on. I know they felt light and the feel was very plastic like. but I maybe wrong then.

Now if so I can do the trim covering for the 1G like the 2G has but just not shiney as the 1G's come as. That is going to be the hardest part to do well.

Could you make it out of something that will accept auto paint so we could lay down a two part and clear coat on it?

The best material I opt for is EPDM which is a great materal for UV and outside seals. It works a great deal better and our TEST Driprail has spent its life outside will ill effects over the years in the code and heat. coating it is possible but as it is moveable could crack due to expansion but that is not something we would advise on doing. But I understand the issue and concern

Will you be able to put oilite bushings in the tensioner arms?
No, These are brass bushes that are self lubricating anyway. I looked at off the shelf bushes but they are not in the correct specs. So just going to make them to suit my requirements and specs

I figured id throw an idea out there, not sure if anyone offers one yet or has asked about it, but I'd like a cnc cut steel weld in oil pan baffle kit for track racing, for both 6 bolt and 7 bolt applications, that way we can simply weld it into the stock oil pan and not have to worry about corner G forces depleting oil supply to the pickup.

Already done! Just waiting on some final test parts to come in to make sure it is correct. It will have a few versions offered also for people and will also be able to add pan extensions for a bit more oil capacity

Both 6 and 7 bolt covered 🤘 so do not fear.
