They really are. I wanted a set for the Eclipse, but the 1g in a 2g setup makes that hard with the mismatvhed hoses and they dont make 1g hoses.

Good news guys, the RR cup went all the way into the diff without the snap ring. As suggested, I then applied a small amount of grease to the snap ring to center it in the groove, but it was still sliding down a bit. So I clocked the open end of...

Disassembled the valve train on my head and found what im sure is the reason for my lower compression on cylinder one. Piece of plastic was stuck between the valve and the valve seat causing it to not close all the way. Almost EVERY valve stem...

Due to @pauleyman pet peeve for kinked aftermarket coolant hoses this week, I could no longer see past the hose on the Prelude that i did earlier this year and didnt trim. Which was due to sheer laziness because i already filled it before i...

Yeah the outer pulley is on backwardsTo correct it you would need to basically take off the alternator belt, then loosen the bolts on the water pump pulley, then loosen the steering pump to give that belt some slack, then fully remove the bolts...

I took some more pics and I think you’re right, but if I flip the outer one, the inner one would still be rubbing, no? Or, are they both backwards? 🤔Part numbers are OK, the outer one is 980 instead of 985, but that still falls within the...

Yeah in your video the gap between the belts is much too large, the outer pulley is for sure on backwards. It could also be that the bolts are loose causing the inner pulley to be misaligned. It might also be the wrong belt on the steering...

Well damn, that would explain it! You’re sure? I heard a garage did the water pump replacement… thought it would be done well, guess that shows what I know. Is it hard to take care of this myself? For reference the hardest thing I did so far was...

Like this one?You must be registered to see element. You can get a fuel pump assembly with a 3/8 barb for a neck fitting on RockAuto. If I ever broke the factory slip one I was just going to use a 3/8 barb into the sending unit. You can get...

  • Hello guys! I need some help finding the problem I got out of nowhere. Looking at the logs it seems when the ECU is going in open loop it cuts the injectors. I'm not sure if this is the problem but the car is hard to drive, engine is stopping...

You mean here? You must be registered to see element. You fell out of closed loop about the same time your MAP sensor started acting up. Notice how it doesn't react to your changes in TPS afterword and the choppy O2. Perhaps some of this is...

What are your opinions on the Radium dampener? I was debating on installing one(or two even) but haven't read much on their effectiveness.
  • So with the Electronic assist how does it feel now? I'm in group buy 2 and drove the car looped last night and yeah if the new manual rack is just as tough I hate it. No more arm out the window one hand cruising would have me just taking the BRZ...

I saw a lot of different ways to install the pump, for that moment I thought that is the best way. I wouldn't secure the pump only with clamps, I have the feeling that with the bracket in place and the rubber between the basket and the pump it's...

Right, the pump won't slide down. Just the grommet could somehow push down. Maybe you will be able to tell if the grommet is out of position or anything weird when you look in there next time.Since I've never had a 2g, my "eyes" on this...
