I have put zMAX in all parts of my car that came with the kit, they replace the parts if something breaks while you are treating it with it. You all ever used it before? if you have let me know, and also what other additives have you all used that you could tell a difference in? i.e. motor up, engine restore. let me know:thumb:

the nos says it doesn't have any ptfe in it. I just wondered if it was anygood, figured it's sorta a well known brand, must have at least an ok reputation if it's still around. I've heard of that restore stuff, might just give that a go. Was more intersted in the nos brand since my work has it for only about 1.50 a bottle.

this restore stuff... where can i get it and whats the exact title/color of bottle... i have 1 little freakin tap when my car is cold... its peeing me off so bad im bout to go get the valves adjusted if thats posbile.. is it? if not i know what vmax is..... it has linkite (dont know how to spell) in it witch is used in aircraft engines... but i will try the restore stuff too.. so where is it! and is it possible for valves to be adjusted?

The xylene can be found at home depot... The oct. boosters at parts stores that came 7 points will boost 10 gallons of 93 oct to a wopping 93.7 for only $10... xylene 1/3 with 93 oct. is 101 oct. After that I say C-16 on race day...

I bought some c-16 from a speed shop, and he asked me if I was going to run it in a street bike or 4 wheeler, I laughed and pointed at the 89' civic hatchback with a 75 shot.. I said,"its a wheeler motor, but its in a car"... I ran 15.1 the next day, with a stock motor and gutted cat, 155000 miles, and the 75 shot...ZEX... Not bad by honda standards, but thats why I bought my R/T !!

This is what killed your engine right? Have you pursued the promise from them about your engine failing while using it?

Restore works well i have used it in every car i have owned for the last 10 years, read the oil bible in the vfaq site about what additives are good and which ones aren't.

Yeah, I have a friend of mine that worked on the ZMax infomercial. I just emailed her the link with the FTC case. I can't wait to hear her reaction. :) BTW, Zmax is owned by Speedway Motorsports. They own the NASCAR tracks which is how they got the racing industry involved with Zmax. I bet those guys don't put that stuff anywhere near their cars. I was going to put that stuff in my car based on what my friend had told me. Glad I didn't. She was going to add that stuff to her's too. Hopefully, I catch her in time.

You know that silly stuff they advertise on TNN, the stuff that comes in a soda can? does it do anything? has anyone used it?

Engine Restore is just some really thick motor oil. It seals the gaps between the piston rings and the cylinder walls, creating less blow-by. To me, it's a ripoff since you can just use thicker motor oil and get the same results. It's just in a cool looking soda can
