So that's your name on here, eh?

Whatever, you shouldn't get credit for it anyways. All you did was part of the work?

I hear ya. :thumb:

If you wanted to go full MIG, another good cast welding technique is to use nickel welding wire, I've read.

If we have any problems, I'll look into that.

Thanks for the heads-up.

So how much would you charge to do it for someone? I have an extra O2 housing laying around so might as well do something with it.

all you did was the sawzalling, hackswaing and carbon wheeling, if it wasnt for my expert precision welding skills/technique    matts o2 housing would be scrap metal :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

On second thought, we could only really charge maybe 70-80 dollars, and that's with a port job, because the Punishment Racing O2's go for 130ish, right?

The cost of materials, and then once you divide the money up to the people who worked on it, well, it just isn't going to be enough to justify the work.

Sorry :(

Just an update on the welding. The dump is still fine, no cracks, nothing. My O2 housing (on my old 2G) is still going strong with no problems.

Later,

Jesse
