Ok, I have searched the idle surge thread and looked on the "Idle surge walkthroughs" and could not figure it out. I have had a bad ISC for awhile, and I unplugged it and had it running for a pretty long while (2 months or so). The idle was a little off, idling anywhere from 800 - 1450 rpms but it wasn't surging, so I was happy. Recently, I did work on my car (cam position sensor and timing belt) and when I turned it back on, the idle surge was back... No good. I thought that with the ISC disconnected the problem would stay gone, but now I'm curious if just having a dirty throttle body could cause a idle surge. I know that some of the threads say that a dirty throttle body could be an issue, but could it really cause a problem like that??? I know that when I am driving around town my SAFC says that the throttle sticks open while I'm driving anywhere from closed, to .1% to 2.6% open. Does this sound like it could be the root of my issue???

Just replace your isc since you know its bad, perhaps block off you faiv.... and why the #### am i rookie ive been here 2 years?
