Another Idle surge question

I got idle surge bad. It doesn't stall often however when my car is rolling it will idle fine. If i am a very slight hill and i let the brake off it will stop surging once i start roling forward. Has anyone heard of this?

Rolling isn't idling. Standing still with the engine on and no throttle is idling. I just posted some suggestions on idle surge in AWD~SLEEPER's thread:

Try those and see if everything checks out OK.

well i dont touch the throttle if it coasts its fine or rolls with no help from the drivetrain its fine but if it sits it surges.

You must have an automatic. You should still check out that link I posted above. The reason I believe it's one of the problems in that link (probably the idle switch) is because you say it only surges when you're absolutely still. The ECU determines that you're idling when your idle switch is triggered and you're not moving. Let us know how your results turned out after you've done the tests in that link.

i already changed the isc though and it was with a good one.

Did you even read the rest of that post? The thing I tried to stress most was that the idle switch should be tested. Before people start buying new ISC's and TPS's etc, they should check their idle switch. It's really easy to check. It can and will totally fux your idle if it's not calibrated correctly.
