Well i did my boost down leak and before the sidemount im holding 15 psi solid till 6100 or so then it drops quick so im happy with that cause thats fine,

but after my bov im getting 15 psi till about 3500 and then it drops to 10 and then 8 and i believe i hear my bov leaking from inside the connection is tight and gasket isnt leaking.

i was just wondering if anyone has had this problem with a 1g bov on a 2g car im trying to get the uncrushed bov to hold 17 - 15 psi i heard its possible but im sol i guess,

if anyone is selling a bov that will bolt up to a 1g flange and will hold 17 psi let me know thanks

Since I don't understand what you're talking about, lets try this.
Boost leak test.
At 20 psi how long are you holding the pressure from the turbo inlet?

i dunno i have a problem when my car starts boosting it kinda of holds back for a second then starts to boost like 2700 it feels like im brakeing a little bit, but at 3k it kind of boosts but only holds 10 psi

after that it drops quick to 8 i think my bov is shot you can kind of hear it blowing off normally i have a stock 1g bov i was just wondering if anyone else had the problem and if they did is it fixable or should i just go get another bov i dont care just wondering and also

when im on the gas maybe 15 - 30% solid the vacume fluxuates ALOT from 18 to 6 and i had all boost leaks done and before the bov im holding 17 psi

i noticed a change in spool up when i swapped from a crushed 1g to the greddy type S ...mine must have been leaking all along. all you have to do is drill new holes in your current flange and it works fine.

Give us your step by step procedure of this "boost down leak". This is how a boost leak test is done.
