Yellow a stock color???

I was searching around a few newspapers and car lots today (trying to find a new car) and I found a 95gst with 91,500 miles on it for $4,950. The car is yellow.....was yellow even a stock color for the 95 eclipse? I know I have never seen one before.

It's probably a complete re-spray. Check the engine bay to see if it is either yellow or some other color. When a car is redone, usually they don't take out the engine n shit, they just cover it up, with the hood up maybe you'll find the true color!

So im guessing the 95 modle year didnt come with yellow as a stock color? I havent had a chance to go down to the dealer and look at the car in person yet, but I will deffinatly take a look at the engine bay. If all checks out I will be picking this one up, yellow looks hot.

Im going to be the odd guy out and say possiably.. i have a 94.5 gsx and it has a factory blue leather interrior. they may have made a few custom order yellow guys.. but nothings for sure untill you rip up the carpet and take a look.

yeah i noticed that too in the pic, thats probly why it carries such a low sale price, idk im still going to check it out.

my car is barcelona (burgandy), if it wasn't so expensive/time consuming to do it right...it would be repainted yellow. i just can't stand the look of opening the hood or doors and seeing some other color than what is on the body. looks half-assed.

I dont think its that bad looking, just certain shades of yellow look like crap, and thats one of those shades

well went to go look at the car today...all i can say is omfg worst car dealer and worst looking eclipse i have seen in a while. As soon as I set foot on the property the dealer was on my ass the entire time. I walked up to the eclipse and asked him when the car was in a accident he said "this car wasnt in a accident ever", i asked him "why is the hood misaligned", he said that that the hood bolts where on too tight. I looked at him and said oh ok, then I asked if he knew what the orginal color of the car was, he went on to tell me that it was a special edition eclipse and that it was sold in that color I asked then why is there primer (thats what that dark spot on the front bumper is, seems as though they didnt bother to take the plate holder when respraying) on the front bumper, he didnt have a awnser. I asked him to see the engine and he told me that he couldnt pop the hood because its against some policy of theirs. Right after he said that he went over to talk to someone else (more well known I guess) and I went inside the dealership building and asked to see the yellow eclipse, another salesman walked out there with me and the first thing I asked him was to see under the hood, he poped it right away and guess what the color of the engine bay was.......black. Looked at the doorjams and they where black and the molding around the hatch was mostly black but wasnt even done. After seeing that I didn't even bother to get the other salesman in trouble for lying to me, I just walked out.
