WTF did I do?!?!

OK so i was in my friends neighborhood and i had to show off so I was going off of his street and made a left turn kinda slow and i revved it to like 4 and then dropped it to do a lil burnout i shifted 2nd really hard so i went down the road and i noticed that the steering felt weird like it was springy so i went to make a right turn onto my girlfriends street and i made a noise like a axle broke...like something snapped and was slapping something, so i stopped the car to see if i broke an axle or n e thing and there was nothin wrong..i went to turn the wheel and it make the same noise...i went to work and put my car on the lift..i do oil changes n shit....and looked around and there was nothing wrong..o and it didnt make the noise when i drove to the shop..like 2 miles away...but i noticed that i used to be able to turn the wheel 1 and 1/4 turns both ways but i can turn it right 1 1/4 turns and the left 1 3/4 turns...and it only did it on the drivers side..what could be wrong?

is this an AWD car?

put it up on teh lift put the car in gear and try to spin the wheel on by one.

does teh RPMs shoot up when u go WOT now?

no its not awd and no the rpms dont "shoot" up at wot..it goes up as it would b4..u think its the power steering rack, might have messed it up...tierod ends...but i got all of em replaced 17k miles ago

im a newb but i have that problem with my other car and it was cv joints when you turn hard it clicks loud

I think it kinda sounds like a cv joint too....

Moved to problem diagnosis.

Sounds like its the CV joints to me. If it sounds like metal slapping each other when your turning your wheel, than its most likely it.
