WTB AWD Talon, Eclipse, Laser

Looking to buy an 1g AWD Talon, Eclipse or Laser. I'll have $1500 cash this Friday (03/11) and come the 25th $1800-$2000.

Looking for an AWD that has a good transmission, interior/exterior is decent, and if it local minor/moderate engine work is fine. If its 150+ miles away from Everett would like it to be running and able to do the drive. Unmodded would be awesome (help to reduce sale price) but if there's a few on it it absolutely fine.

An auto or manual doesnt matter would love and cherish either. If you have a 2g in my price range that'd be awesome but my range is most likely fit for a 1g. I would tow one from a distance if it was reasonably priced and only needs minor engine work. I am mechanically inclined so a head gasket, timing belt, cv axles, and possibly ring replacements are doable. Just not entire engine replacement, don't have space.

$1500 for a gsx?! Good luck budd, id have a collection if i could find and buy one that easily. Check carsdotcom and then make the search "all" from "(zip cose)" so you can see in all the u.s. Only about 4-7 a week

There actually is few believe it or not. Just hoping to find one local. Some are any where from 150 miles too 400 miles from me. I actually picked up my 1990 TSi AWD for 1.1k a year ago and it only needed an ECU and maintence. Had a small 16g, full 3" turboback, and a few small mods done to it.

Actually looking at a 1991 Stealth R/T TT AWD for 1600 locally that needs some work done on ECU(s)

Also a local dsm'er from this site has a 1991 Talon AWD for 1800 if its available on the 25th I'll be picking that up most likely.

There are deals out there just need to look and put it out there.

Have a local buddy that has a nice looking 1993 Talon TSi with a 6 bolt freshly put in just he stopped with swap b/c he dont know how to wire it up. Want 650 for it. BUT the tranny isn't installed, and needs a new turbo and clutch, and the time in putting it back together. I just dont have the time or space to do that kinda work.

But if your really looking for a small fee I'll find you some deals May take a week or up to a month or two but they do come along.

I've got a 1992 Talon Tsi AWD that needs a good home. I *hate* to sell it, but I'm in need of about $2300 to take care of some bills.

Details:
6 bolt motor
4 bolt axles
EEPROM ECU with newer caps
Forged internals (Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods)
Balance shafts eliminated
Professionally machined and balanced
Rebuilt trans
New transfer case (got in under safety recall )
Struts, alignment, %50 rubber

Everything under the hood was returned to stock for emissions testing. Passed no problem.

I've also got a spare 6 bolt motor, a spare trans, several O2 housings (steel and stainless) a 3" down pipe, yada yada for anyone interested.

It needs a brake master cylinder. I'll knock off $100 if I don't have to change it.
