WRX Intercooler on DSM

MY buddy has a WRX impreza has the whole top mount intercooler and stuff. I was wondering if you guys have heared of or seen anyone that used a wrx top mount intercooler on a dsm. If not seen or heared of it do you guys think it would be possible. Hes gettin a FMIC and he said he would give his top mount to me. I was thinkin about tryin to make a FMIC out of it for my car. I drive a 97 GST stock front end and all that. I would like some of you DSM guru's opinions and input on design.

Any intercooler can be used on any cars it's just about how long you wanna take to fabricate the piping. I am tempted to just say no it won't work but it will. You will have to plug the hole on the IC for there factory bypass valve. Also you will have to plug the other 2 ports on it. Honestly. It won't be worth your time. I wouldn't even worry about trying to make it fit.

You could also mount it the same in your dsm and get a cool hood scoop

Yeah thats what i figured i had never seen a qrx intercooler to begin with after i put up the post i looked on another webpage and seen it i didnt think it was gonna work. Oh well might be a kind of a fun project. But i dought it. well oh well. thanks guys but if you guys have any more ideas about let me know if i can get a few good ideas about it maybe i can pull it off.
