my brother just wrecked my car, i just had and engine installed in it too, my question is, could the engine be damaged from the inside if no visible damage is showing on the out side of it?

seems like a very broad question. Where did the damage take place on the car? Whats your brother drivin like a mad man? Sure engine damage could happen without visible damage on the outside, but if you want to know about damaged caused by the accident, I think we need more details. Sorry to hear that....

will, my brother had lost controll of the car and ran in the concrete barrier, the damage was all front the front of the car, the bumper was off, the driver head light was gone, the engine kinda shifted in to the car, it moved, just a little bit, but my brother said he drove the car from one side of the freeway to the other after the crash....
ill upload the pictures as soon as their approved!!

It will help with pictures, sorry to hear about what happend, but thats what happens when you lend your car to friends and family, Insurance will probably take care of it though, assuming you have good insurance and its not totalled.

Theres a lot that can go wrong in a crash, even if the engine does not get smashed into. For example if the radiator is smashed and you lose all the water and the car keeps running, it can over heat. Also with our oil filters where they are, peices from the front of the car sometimes get smashed into them, there for draining the oil. And of course a car that runs with no oil, is not good.

Without pics its hard to say what, if anything is wrong with the engine though.

the pictures are not approved yet!! i know the car did leak the coolant, u can see like a thick trail from were the accident was to the other side of the road, my power steering leaked, but the car still has all of its oil.

how long does it take for pictures to get approved?

oh, i just talked to my brother and he said that the car was still running till running after he parked it, and when cop got their he suggested to turn the car off because its leaking coolant!! :dsm:

Well the next thing to do then would be check for visible cracks or oil leaks. Then I would suggest a compression check. that would probably tell you everything you need to know.
