Maybe this should be in the drivetrain section?? ... it's actually just a question of where I can get a part from.

I have been having problems with the clutch adjusting itself lately and finally got around to putting on my stainless clutch line. Well anyways once I blead the system I went down to adjust the rod on the master cylinder. It looks normal, but as soon as I began to turn it I could tell it was bent. With every turn you could see it wobble back and forth so it's got a pretty good bend in it, yet it's not actually broken in half. Where can I get just a replacement rod or piece to put in place of it since I don't want to spend almost $80 on a whole new master cylinder when the cylinder itself is fine?! Would the dealership sell that seperate?

I would possibly try a junkyard, I've managed to wrangle up a good LSD rear diff, and hatch for relativly cheap. And my brother in law has gotten lot's of good parts from low mile accident totalled cars.

That was my initial thought too, but no junkyards near me have any 95+ turbo / awd dsms. Not sure if the fwds use the same master cylinder or not. I may just replace the whole cylinder and get a new rod with it but I kinda wanted something as a backup in case this one snapped on my while I was driving.

If you can't get it from the junkyard, you might not have a choice but to fork over the $80 for a new master cylinder.

that doesn't come with the rebuild kit does it??? that's only like 15-19 bucks.
