Got some good info from twicks69 about a tune after changing to a aftermarket flywheel, but would this also apply for putting in a stronger rebuilt tranny? Even if I decided to go with the oem flywheel?

You shouldn't really have to worry about dynoing it after swapping a flywheel or tranny. The flywheel will only free up rev's more then anything so it's more of a butt dyno feeling in the long run.

I dont plan on dyno, more of a streetability thing. What Im getting at is if I have to get a tune with the rebuilt tranny, I might as well go aftermarket.(ACT streetlite). If I dont need to tune, then Im thinking resurfacing the stock flywheel

I wouldn't see why you would. I mean your not messing with anything that has to do with fuel, air or timing. Also what clutch are you going to be running since you said about getting a flywheel Just wondering.

You won't need to retune, so if your profile is right u got a 16g so it you are changing anything in the tranny I would get a act 2100 clutch wich will hold like 350whp and fidanza lighten flywheel. But it won't change anything to do with tune just give you the power to the ground.
