HEy my car will not going into wot. When i floor it the car liek cuts. I know it not fuel cut becuase i have eprom chip, i did a boost leak test, my spark plugs and wires are new, and all the vacumm lines are all good. Im thinking the bov, but it just like started today the car ran perfect yesterday.
thanks

It's hard to tell you anything since your car and it's complete list of mods aren't in your profile. It really helps when we can look at all aspects of what's been done to help in determing a possible problem. But, if you're heavily modded, i can say that NOTHING but Magnecor wires are going to transfer enough energy to keep the spark from bein blown out at WOT when the boost is high.

I went through 3 sets of NEW accell wires in one week, switched to magnecores and have had them on the car damn near 5 years now and they are still flawless!

i usally run like 17psi, i turned down to like 12, my mods fmic, 16g, maft, afc, 550cc, other lil stuff

Does it feel just like a random miss once the boost builds? I'm thinking it's spark related (wires, coil packs or ignitor and transistor)

start with the simple...If anyone you know runs magnecor wires, ask if you can use them to make a few passes.

For the coils: Visiallu inspect for cracks or any melting. Then use a Volt/Ohm meter and check teh resistance accorss the 2 poles of each coi ( i forget what the reading is supposed to be )

I'm not sure how to check the ignitor

EDIT: the "power transistor" is the ignitor

what year is the car?

Its a 92, im thinking misfire too kidna werid cuzz i have 8.5mm taylor wires, and plugs are new, but it did cut at liek 2900 rpm means no boost im not sure.
thanks

Have you run it up higher to try and "drive through" the cutting out? Should try it once to get a feel of when it's doing it other than just 2900RPM WOT . I'm looking at scematics right now trying to figure out how to test the ignitor. ut i'm still thinking wires for some reason

yea i try to stick threw it. some times it will boost cut higher never the same rpm

see if you can swap plug wires with some one for at elast one test run. These things when modded need wires that are in damn good shape to transfer all teh spark energy to the plugs under boost
