I may have found the trany, but i understand that i will also need a transfer case, rear end, and 4 half shafts?

question one is there are 21 22 and 23 spline versions, which shoudl i get, or is it dependant on the trany? also, can i get the other parts i need from either 1g awds or 2g gst or do i need it all from an awd? thansk

There are only 22 and 23 spline issues and that refers to the number of splines on the center/output shaft from the transmission to the transfer case. IIRC, all 2G's have 23 spline transmissions and transfer cases. The driveshaft has 21 splines on all AWD's so the output shaft of the transfer case matches the drive shaft. You would be best off sticking with 2g parts.
Since your swapping AT to MT on a AWD you will also need to swap the rear diff or change the gears in it. The two transmissions have differ gear ratios and you MUST have the front and rear gear ratios the same.
