Won't go into 2nd gear

95 Talon TSI AWD 5 Speed..How much do you think it costs to has syncro replaced at shop?

if its just the 2nd gear synchro maybe not that bad but if its slipping to more than one gear then its gonna add up.... and if your skipping from first to third it will catch up with you eventualy. i drove from florida to LA with the forth gear synchro messed up... i skipped that gear everytime... and when i got to LA it was about a week then it tore up the whole tranny... i would charge about 1k if i had to replace someones tranny... thats rebuilding the whole thing. but iam guessing from about 75-110$ because of labor and all it might vary... and there definatly going to find more wrong with it...bet on that....hope i helped somewhat... go around and get quotes from different tranny shops...
