with 2g maf

I have a 1992 1g 5spd talon with a 14b all stock just exhaust and hardpipes.Was wondering if putting a 2g maf with the 2g injectors would let me run a few more psi then stock.I guess what im asking is do i have to buy a safc or dsmlink to run say 16-17psi out of my 14b?Im not going to run anymore then that.

Edit:I also been looking for burned chips for say 550 or 650 injectors and running more then stock boost but cant find any companys that are in business anymore.Figured this would be another option as i have a eprom ecu.

2G injectors are 450cc as well, so no.
Some people say you can get away with a 2G maf and 550s though. I wouldn't do anything without a way to log and monitor your a/f.
