I talked to my folks and if you want the car then they will sell....wll it's still in my name so I will sell.

I din't want to have to work on the car anymore (not that I would every damn thing is fixed) and if they had it I'd be working on it all the time.

Give me a call at work or on my cell. I'll PM you my work #

nope but im getting my new clutch (and all the hydrolics) replaced monday.

so im going to go out racing(stupid lil camaros hondas mustangs vettes etc) this weekend heh.

blah tonight is cruiser night !!! (yes my town has a strip everybody cruises at night) and cruiser night is the night the hotrods come out and all the dads w/ there big v8s that get smoked by lil ol me LOL :)

beat a old GTO last week i think he was crying after that. (only race to about 30-50 on the roads)

The girl couldn't remember if it was a 93 or 94 talon AWD turbo. Black with sunroof.........and the engine and tranny in the back seat. Engine in little pieces. Good. Then I don't have to pull it or tear it down to rebuild it.

I'll get pics for yall on monday.

:laser: :talon: :thumb:

Gary is a happy boy!

My wife wants to help with the build up and try to get it show quality with over 300HP:D

uhh the engine and tranny is in the backseat eh....

so thats like a mid engine AWD ? :p

Well, I got it home.

I'll tell you......the girl was not kidding about it being taken apart.

engine is COMPLETELY torn down. Head off, one cam out, pistons and crank out, balance shafts out, water and oil pumps out, turbo split.....BARE block!!

Tranny was out
one axle missing
wiper moter missing
ALL lights out (headlights, tail lights directionals ect)
bumper covers off
seats out
door panels out
ECU missing
radio out

I have a shell and alot of loose parts.

Its a start.....The only things I would not have taken out and or apart myself would be the ECU and wiper moter anyhow so he actually saved me alot of work to rebuild the car from the ground up.

I have alot of sorting to do

Both front fenders ar damaged as well as the front of both doors

I planed to put a body kit on it anyhow so I guess the fenders (which I can fix are not that big of a deal. I might opt for the vented fenders:shhh:

The guy didn't wreck anything or cut any harnesses when he pulled it apart so I should be in good shape. Just have to sort out all that loose hardware.;)

Good news..........the odometer reads 68,000:thumb:

:laser: :talon:

blah vented fenders= rice and most of them are made out of junk material

find some CF fenders :p

Damn gary, sounds like you have alot of work ahead of ya!

Let me know if ya need any help.

Hi
I just wanted to drop a hello.
zerofreez is Jason84 the Jason you always talk about??
alright see ya guys

Terry,

Alot of work is and understatement. You will have to stop out and see my mess sometime. I checked the crank to see if it was warped and it turns free when torqued in. Needs to be polished though. I think I will knife edge it too while I am at it. Balance shaft eliminator after that. Then a set of Max Power Extreme pistons. (I still need a part # for wiseco pistons) Then I think its on to the head. Saved and ported. Throw on a metal head gasket for that extra boost potential. (did I mention the car only has 68545 miles on it:D ) Better valve springs so I can rev up in the 8,000 range. Maybe even a set of cams. Maybe....yeah right......go big or go home! Stock cams flat out to low in the revs. Port out the intake and pre-drill for nitrous ports. Actually I think I will make a spacer between the intake and head for that purpose. (Gary smells a money makeing idea again:shhh: ) So many ideas so little $. This is goint to take a while.

i havent.. but i know manitowoc motor and machining is very good with motors from what ive heard. i think they even do stuff for nascar

Be carefull building that block gary.

7 bolts are super picky, use factory main bolts for sure. And make sure you get the correct bearings from mitsu. Also when your torqueing the main fasteners down crank em down a bit.... wiggle the crank back and forth, crank em down a little more, and so on so they are seated perfect. Or else you'll end up with crankwalk, and KABOOOM.

Also whatever you do, dont push in the clutch at all untill the car has been cranked over for a min or 2 to fill with oil... then started, and has good oil pressure.

Hey matt, if you come to the track sunday you'll probably get to see me blow up my tranny!
