OK here is the official announcment.

I will be raceing in the Supercross at the Columbia County Fair on Wednesday July 23rd. Practice at 6 raceing at 7. (Look for the guy in the back trying not to die #329) I hope none of the big dogs show, (probably won't cause it is not a sanctioned event) so I won't look too bad.

I dunno whats going on at GLD but ill probably go.

Is anyone going to Hot Import Nights on saturday in chicago?
 
I thought there was a cook out or something next month. I subscribe to WIDSM, that yahoo group and I thought there was something mentioned about it in here. Maybe I'm just getting them mixed up... I'd still like to go down to GLD sometime soon and meet some other DSMers and their cars. Anyone here go down to Park Place by the two big glass buildings?
 
There is a small get together planned for August 18th due to Gary(rookieupgrade1) coming to the area. It's a Monday night, so it will probably just wind up being some locals. Even still, could be a good time. We're basically all getting together at my place for some food and shop talk.
 
Hey guys, long time no post.

Anywho, is anybody planning on going to GLD tonight? I'm trying to convince my roommate to take his car there w/ me since I'm still w/out mine. Just wondering if I can expect to see some DSM's from this forum if I make it there...Let me know guys.

Well if everything goes well i will have my car back tomorrow. Since i havnt had it for a month or so i wanna hit up a track this weekend.

Anyone down for going to byron or GLD this weekend??

Car still in for mirror/other things fixin'. Now they tell me it'll be done by like monday or something... bummer. I got a gig this Saturday night at the Rave though if you wanna come. And then I promise I'll go to GLD when I get my car back.
 
Well I ran my 2 heat races and went home without running the main events. Bike ran like crap (needs to be jetted) and I was raceing stupid so rather than get myself hurt I loaded up and went home.

By the way if you know anyone who wants a CR125 with a profesionally built 135 kit in it for $1200 let me know.

Oh its a 94 Honda CR 125 all rebuilt (engine and crankcase) new plastic and frame paint. looks sharp. Fast. (when its jetted right)

There is the All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, near Minneapolis, on August 23rd. Its a BBQ and car show for all Mitsubishi built sports cars. Its the fifth year for the event. Last year we had 75 Mitsus there. So far I only have a couple Mitsu owners from Wisconsin coming, and I'd love to have some more!! I've had people come from as far as Wasington State come. And I always get people who come from all the states that border Minnesota. I'm shooting for 90 cars this year and it looks like that is a pretty realistic goal. More details are at:

Thanks Curt, I'll see if I can come up. I have a gig on the 22nd at The Rave so I might not be thinking clearly the day after... but if I can make the trip I'd love to come see it! I saw some pictures from the year before and it looked awesome!

Pick a valid date man. The 26th is a tuesday.
 
And maybe pick a date when something else isn't already scheduled. :rolleyes:

The All Mitsu Cookout is Saturday, August 23rd, near Minneapolis. There are a few DSMs coming from Wisconsin. One I know is from Madison. Last year there were 41 DSMs at the Cookout and 75 cars overall.

I would go to Madison for a meet up. But it would have to be a different day, because I'm hoping to make it out to Minnesota. Although Madison is a bit closer for me...
