bad o2 sensor maybe?
 
Is it possible to see if you have a bad 02 sensor? Like just take it out, and if it looks one way, its good, if it looks another, its bad??
 
How bad is bad? :p I live in kenosha if u want to swing by or some shit tomarrow, before i go back to FL I'll look at it, can't garrentee anything :)........ Btw i sure hope your not the 2G that got blasted on hwy31 like 10 mins ago, it was red, i think it was a GS though. :cry: another DSM bites the dust.
 
Oh yea, You could have a boost leaking causing you to run midly rich, that might bring ur gas milage down a bit.

Not really, unless it is falling apart or corroded I've seen that once or twice. I'd check for boost leaks and make sure the wiring for the o2 sensor isn't damaged. Could be other things too but I always check for that first. What kind of gas mileage are you talking about?
 
I went around the block and i swear everytime i shifted or hit boost i saw that gas gauge just go down LOL

dang, i had a lot on my camara but its at home now. Oh well when i finish building up the new talon i'll be ready for the next video :D
 
I'm drinking rum & coke out of a frosty cup and squirly straw eeehhaaaaa. Happy monday! Now I'm going to tell all a little story. Nye I was driving along in my dsm I call bump and suddenly it went BUMP. So, I pull over (YES I WAS SOBER) and my fog light is disappeared and i have two cracks in the bumper, I hit a hippoponamous or something...anyway, the previous nye I went curbsurfing and the same foglight and crack were formed. How strange that the only time I hit anything is on nye. Also, for the past two halloweens I've landed myself in the hospital. Okay bye
 
Hmmm I'm so undecided on what turbo i want to run? I'm thinkin of a FPRed w/ a 7cm2 housing to try and make it street able. or just a 50trim, My goal is around 500hp at the crank maybe more. By mid summer i should of a 2.3 stroker kit and a 6bolt. What do you guys think.

Wow I haven't been to this thread for a while how is every1. Hey Avenegence I was wondering what intake u have being that u r running a GM MAF set up i have a GM MAF and plan on running it tell me what kind u have because Dejon Tool has so many fu(king intakes i just wanna be sure so when i begin my build up on my car next week :thumb:
 
i believe its the 3" one w/o the recirc tube.
 
dont they have a few like that though, and wut about the nipples for the Boost Controller will I need those too?
 
Are you putting the maft on the intake side of the turbo? It's better to put it in the upper intercooler pipe. Get the Fpred or 60 trim, whatever you want to call it, its an awesome turbo, very very streetable. On my 2.0 I had full boost at 3500 rpms which was set at 21psi on pump gas. Get a spool for the center diff, and buy stock in a transmission company ;) Oh, you are definetly going to need some sweet ass management for that setup, beyond what just a maft can do, or what an safc can do. And shoot for 880cc injectors. Just my .02
