Lethbridge,
to start with... i have looked through all 18 pages and have not found what i was looking for, i also asked a mod (mavisky) prior to this and he approved my thread. seeing as i have not been able to find my answer anywer else.

alright as i have found out... much to my dismay i have accidentally undertaken the most impossible swap ever. i have a 92laser rs n/t. ant bought a dreaded 90laser rs-t. so the 90turbo motor is in my 92n/t car and everything in place. except the one clip that no longer matches, it is the 5th wiring clip on the main engine wiring harness by the computer. #c-67 (controll wiring harness and body wiring harness combination) according to the dsm back up manual cd. now here is my problem, the 92n/t car has a big rectangle clip with 9wires... the 90turbo wiring harness has a smaller clip with 7 wires... what should i do to get the clip's to match up, and function properly? without toasting my ecu or other components???

THANKYOU VERY MUCH for any and all help!!!

p.s. yes i have already tried to get wiring diagrams from dodge and Mitsubishi, i have asked custom shop's, i have spent many eye crossing hour's on the N/T to turbo conversion section, and checked other forum's, i have even asked somebody who did the exact same swap!, and still no luck.

i am asking you for help as a last resort. no one else can help me....

these are the pics i have... if more are needed or whatever else... i am way more than willing to get them!

i just got this from angelo over at maclin. he figured out the same problem on gabe's very similar swap...

so i guess i might have ####ed myself. damit!

Rueben.
Swap back the 1992 laser non-turbo harness.
Add 4 wires from the ecu(look in your manual what 4 pins are open on the ecu
harness)
Add a resistor on your injector wire harness on the trigger wire.
Thats it.
Used aftermarket boost guage and boost controller to monitor boost.
On the MAF plug used the turbo just transfere the pin and add the 7 wire
Turbo=7 pins on MAF
NON T=6 pins on Maf
That wire U are holding is power wire for your primary circuit If u made a
mistake of installing
that
U will fry your ECU
Hope this help.

one problem... that's almost chineese to me and i live in lethbridge.... damit well i guess my car's gonna be dead for a long while longer... unless anyone would like to help me out here??? *crickets in the silence*... didnt think so. ####!
