Well i suppose first good question i need answered .. Can this be done, or has this been done? All iv'e been looking for is pretty much directions on how to do this. I know nothing about cars so i need directions for someone else and me on how to do this. What i need to buy, along with the engine, (i planned on buying one from TotalJDM unless anyone knows anywhere better to get one) what parts i need from the stock engine if any ('92 Plymouth laser N/T FWD manual) and any modifications that need to be done. if anyone knows where this has already been done and how to do it please put me in the right direction. Or if someone could write me practicully a "How To" manual. Iv'e seriously looked everywhere on how to but i have yet to find the right place. So anyone at all please help me. i really have my heart set at getting this accomplished i just don't know in any way at the moment how. Thanks to anyone with positive input.

Well really this is more of headache then its worth, but if you are serious you will need obviously an engine, wiring harness, ECU, transmission, possibly engine/trans mounts, the intercooler. There is more but I cant think of it right off the top of my head. There has been turbocharged 1.8's and you might wnat to consider that route. And if you're going to do it yourself, start reading some books and get yourself a factory service manual (FSM).

Try this out for engines: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/4g63motorsearch.htm

Also go to www.vfaq.com and click on engine and there is some info there too.

Well thanks for the reply, it's a start, i really need specifics though. like what kind of parts are needed from/for what cars. Cause i'm sure if i was looking for an ecu it'd have to be a different kind. i mean like i said i know nothing about cars. I just like literally a list of parts needed (specific, or suggestions) and also any modifications, cause i also know there's alot of electrical adjustments involed as well. So any and all info is welcome ... i'm just trying to get a complete how to really. Thanks so far...

Moved to N/T-turbo conversion since more people could answer.
