I understand that i'm gonna need the entire front clip fwd tsi tranny, etc.. my questions is.. is this a straight forward type swap or is there custom mounts needed etc? also any other odds and ends that need to be addressed when the swap is done. thanks for the help

ive never heard of a 2.4 liter sohc 4g63T... i thought they were all 2.0 ... and dohc (except the 1.8 sohc)

It doesn't say anywhere what kind of car you have I can only assume that you have the 2.4L Spyder. If you are wanting to go to a 4G63 it shouldn't be that hard but if I where you I would just use the block you have. You can get a set of wiseco pistons part number - K548M865, Your stock rods will be fine. Swap the head with a 1G, with the 1G or 2G had for that matter you can put on a turbo exhaust manifold then its a cake to put on a turbo. Here is a link to my site - http://www.extremeevolutions.com/4G64_buildup.htm most of the stuff will apply because I am using the same block as you.

yea.. thats what it is.. cost wise.. how much is what you're doing costing?
