wiring "angel eyes"

There is a red and black wire for my angel eye. Do I need to run it all the way into my car or could I just tap into the red and black wires on the plug for my fog lights? Thanks.

I spliced into the bumper lights, so they come on with the parking lights.

i did foglights cause i dont have any so they replaced fog lights.

did my buddies civic and wired them right into the other head light harness... like the light that comes on with the first click of the light switch... my other buddy ran a wire into the cab with a switch so he can turn them on and off... cause i hear they melt alot

They shouldnt be melting, they are LED's they draw almost no power to run them and no heat at all shine them all day and they will only be warm. There is a problem if you are melting something with LED's

ok... that's just what i read here and my other buddy's mx6 forum... but cool thanx... that just means less work for me cause i was gonna rewire them for him...

i've got mine wired into where my bumper lenses used to be (they're shaved) i dunno though i haven't really used them yet other than for a few seconds to look at. hopefully they won't melt anythign, they shouldn't get that hot..
