before you call me stupid, i'm trying to remove the whole wiper arm not just the blade, i want to take them off to paint them because their faded, when i remove the nut ontop of the arm it just won't come off, i can pull on but it just stays is there, is there more than one bolt or pin or something holding them in?? it's all three of them by the way front and back.

That's all that's holding them. They are splined, and you may be rusted in place... try some PB blaster and just wiggling it all. I recently pained mine too. I had to pull a bit, but they came off.

J

Rust penetrant, patience, and a small hammer. Spray it down, let it soak a bit, then take a cloth and put it over the splines and little tap the splines and pull the wiper.....it should come right off

Good luck to ya...

That, and if the wipers are still tensioned against the window, the gears are going to be cocked at an angle. Pull the wipers up when you try and pull them off. Stupid. JK :)
