So driving home the other day, i had just
left coffee shop im opening, a deer decided to strike the side of my car. I didnt take any pictures but it was a huge dent, almost the whole rear quarter. Luckily if you look at my pics there was already a dent in the rear quarter when i bought the car...well thats where the deer hit. So my insurance is covering everything and she is in the shop atm, for 6 days! I guess i have some down time to decide what i want to do when i get it back.

(Winter is coming here in michigan and the car is my dd so i think im gonna get it ready, snow tires, oil change, change fluids, ect...)

This winter i plan on trying to get the car CLEAN! I just did the engine, now its time for the interior. Custom sub box, might redo the carpet, and not sure what else, any ideas?

*Update*
The car is done and looking great, im having my front fender that was dinged fixed as well now and am just waiting on that to be shipped. Im also getting the center light piece painted to match. My car looks 10x better now, all i need now is to drop it 1" (but that wont happen till spring).

Im going to start on the sub box, the batter is in my trunk and underneath the mat, as well as the subs are going to be built in that sit down into the trunk. I post pics of the process...

Sorry to hear about the damage, atleast it's getting taken care of. I recently bought a brand new carpet off an ebay vendor for about $140. Nice black color. and it fits real well the only downside is cutting space for the front seats. Definitely worth the price though, good luck on cleaning yours up.

Thanks guys...and the battery is already in the trunk...under a custom box actually. I really just want to make it CLEAN now i guess. I went for fast before looks, and now i need injectors and mangt, so i think its done at least for a while performance wise. Time to catch up on the looks.

I see deer all the time here in Michigan too. Gotta be on the look out at night.

I was going to ask woodnbronze if a deer did that ROFL.

As far as the carpet/rear seat area. What I did was when I redid my carpet(also from ebay, its nice but you have to work at it and cut your own holes for mine atleast) I went to Jo-ann fabrics with a spare piece and matched up the color and material and got enough and just covered it in carpet. It turned out well I think, if I can find pics I'll pm you the address. Good luck this winter and glad yours is getting fixed as well.

Talk to talonalex92 about a rear seat delete. He did his, it came out really nice and was cheap.

I also decided i will finally tint the windows.. i have debated and kept them untinted for 2 years now ( didnt want another reason to get pulled over) but cops dont care out here i guess. So while my shop is at the body shop im gonna go and pull my tail lights off and night shade them, and paint the center rear silver to match.

Im also gona have my friend fill in the holes on my trunk wit bondo and have em sanded so i just need to have it re painted if he doesnt do it himself.

be careful with the night shade. i did mine because my tail lights had blemishes on them that i didn't realize i could get off. it ended up getting me into a lot of trouble with the police hahaha. and down here in florida the cops don't mind much for tinted windows but for some reason hated my tinted lights. :-( they are gone now.

Got the car back, LOOKS GREAT, getting my fender fixed as well now and that should be done in a couple days. THe guy is a friend and is gona hook me up and paint my middle brake light piece for free! So the body part (besides the holes on the trunk i need to fill) is done!
