I wanted to make the event, it looked like it was going to be a great time and by looking at your pics, it obviously was. Just had too many problems with my new setup.

Would a beginner do ok at an event like this or would you suggest getting some experience first?

What happened to the cars marked DNF on the spreadsheet? Did they break down? Just not enter that event?

Congrats on getting the #1 spot for Team USA Kyle. This event is a must attend/race if you can make it next year. They are actually talking about having it again in September. What a blast.

The event was a total blast. One of the fastest autox courses I've ever been on combined with what had to have been the coolest car lineup in history made for a day that I'm itching to be a part of again.

The DNF's came from a number of reasons, some small amounts of breakage, but mostly some of the guys couldn't make it to the 1/4 track the night before. They were suppposed to show up between 3-6pm and I know Ben (the guy who posted below you) was one of the few who was able to get in later but then around 8-9pm the rain let loose and some people hadn't gotten a run in yet. Unfortunately there was no way to go back and get more times after the fact so they were all assessed 0 points for that event.

The next time all of the events will take place on the same day, and I'll have my work cut out for me to stay on top of the USA pack. With the autox portion I take a big hurt to some of the awd cars (evo's, sti's, other dsm's) but since the 1/4 is judged on trap speed I can make up for a little bit of it there. Next time around I may throw in some race gas and see what a little more boost can do, but I need to play it semi-cautious because my stock headgasket and studs aren't going to like much of anything over 24psi with this lovely 18g from FP.
