Damn, I paid $260 for all 5, 15%. And the guy ####ed up the rear one. He said he'd re-do it, but when I went back the shop was empty. Out of business I guess haha.

did he do the rear hatch window in a 2-piece fashion? If he did, he probably didn't know how to work with that much or an arch in your rear window, and messed up.

well I found a good deal...all the windows tinted for $150. Now I was thinking 35% all the way around. The guy told me that would look good. what do you guys think?

Your not going to mention that price and not tell us where are you? $150 is a good price, but have you seen their work?

I would go 35% for the front windows, and darker for the rears.

I'm only getting that price because my mom just bought a new car and wanted the windows tinted and the guy said he can get them done for $150 from a reputable shop so when I heard this I asked if they can do mine too. I'm not sure if you can get them done for $150. All I know is its a shop in Brentwood and the name starts with platinum.

They just opened up down the street from Paradise, where I got mine done. I stopped by there yesterday to check it out and they said they'd re-do my rear window under warranty :thumb: . He laughed at the fact that Paradise charged so much, and couldn't even do a single piece... :p

But I'm headin over there on Monday and I'll let ya know how they do.

I know this post might be old, but not sure if you made a choice of tinting yet. Also, this subject interests me only because I got a ticket and its no fun. Here is a site I found with a state law chart too...keep it legal my friend.
